Meet the S-Class DIGITAL – first insights into the new luxury sedan

Mercedes-Benz launches communication on the occasion of the new S-Class via digital specials on the Mercedes me media platform …

Stuttgart. Mercedes-Benz is expanding its digital information platform with an additional news format about the new S-Class, which will have its world, digital premiere in September. In a total of three episodes starting on July 8, 2020, Meet the S-Class DIGITAL will provide the first insights into some of the innovations that will ensure that the new luxury sedan consolidates its leading position as the best car in the world. Markus Schäfer, Member of the Management Board of Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz AG, responsible for Daimler Group Research and Mercedes-Benz Cars COO, will launch a new series on the Mercedes me media platform with a look at the exterior and interior of the new S-Class. The video is now available at media.mercedes-benz.com/s-class, where all three episodes of Meet the S-Class DIGITAL will also be released, along with supporting documents.

“The new S-Class abounds in revolutionary innovations and raises individual mobility in the luxury segment to a whole new level. We have developed the Meet the S-Class DIGITAL series to provide media representatives with information on key, prominent newspapers before the world premiere, ”says Katja Bott, Global Communications Manager, Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans.

The Meet the S-Class DIGITAL format also consists of moderated shows with studio interviews, as well as site reports and test tracks. Each show is accompanied by detailed information in the form of videos, graphics, media texts and photographs. An opportunity to talk to Mercedes-Benz experts is also possible.

The first show starts on July 8: Sajjad Khan and Gorden Wagener

The first episode of “Meet the S-Class DIGITAL: My MBUX” will be broadcast on July 8, 2020 at 11.30 am and refers to the new generation Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX). Sajjad Khan, Member of the Management Board of Mercedes-Benz AG, responsible for CASE, and Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer for Daimler AG, presented in detail the new possibilities for interaction and personalization.

Safety and comfort are the focus of the second episode of “Meet the S-Class DIGITAL: Innovation by Intelligence”, which will be broadcast on July 29, 2020. The third episode, “Meet the S-Class DIGITAL: Luxury and well-being”, which will be broadcast on August 12, 2020, focuses on the new luxury comfort in the interior.
